Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader HS Phoolka on Thursday met Punjab Governor VP Singh Badnore seeking his intervention on the “deteriorating law and order situation”, increasing private school fees and the government’s alleged failure to address the farmer debt issue.Phoolka was accompanied by 17 MLAs. The Dakha MLA and the opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly said it was not a show of unity as the party was united.
The three MLAs who didn’t accompany Phoolka were Kanwar Sandhu, Jagtar Rajla and Sukphal Khaira. Sandhu is reportedly out of the country, Rajla had to attend the cremation of a relative, while Khaira didn’t join the group despite being called to do so.
